The Impact of Digital Transformation on Educational Equity in Developing Societies
A Critical Analysis of Post-Pandemic Pedagogical Shifts
Keywords:

This study examines the dual nature of digital transformation within the educational sectors of developing nations. While the integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) offers unprecedented access to global knowledge repositories, it simultaneously threatens to widen the "digital divide" among marginalized communities. Through a qualitative meta-analysis of recent pedagogical shifts, this article explores how socio-economic factors influence the efficacy of digital learning. The findings suggest that for technology to serve as an equalizer in society, development policies must prioritize infrastructure and teacher training alongside hardware distribution. This article serves as the inaugural contribution to the Journal of Education, Society & Development, setting a precedent for interdisciplinary research that bridges theoretical frameworks with actionable societal progress.
